The Drone Leaders Group will support the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) with the ongoing review of the EU Drone Strategy 2.0 by providing high-level input on implementation progress and the key challenges the sector is facing. Membership of the group is by invitation.
The Expert Group on Drones and Innovative Air Mobility succeeds a similar group of which AME has been a member since its inception. The new group has a broader mandate and expanded membership. It will support DG MOVE in preparing policy initiatives, strengthening cooperation between the Commission, Member States, EU bodies and stakeholders, and facilitating the exchange of best practices for the safe, secure and sustainable development of the sector.
