Against the backdrop of designing the Horizon Europe successor programme (FP10), set to start in 2028, the European Commission has gathered feedback on Joint Undertakings (JUs) through a Call for Evidence.
As AME, we see JUs as an indispensable instrument to bridge research, development, demonstration, validation and industrial deployment, with the potential to create urgently needed coherent funding pathways. Specifically, we advocate the continuation of SESAR, which has been instrumental for many of our members to develop and mature commercial solutions and is one of Europes most successful industrial innovation ecosystems.
