On 7 May 2026, AME co-organised the final conference of the SESAR-funded EUREKA project at DLR in Cologne. The event brought together industry stakeholders, regulators, researchers, and urban air mobility experts to discuss the integration of vertiports into European airspace and the operational lessons learned throughout the project.
EUREKA (“European key solutions for vertiports and UAM”) has been running since 06/2023 and unites over 30 project partners across Europe. Its work focused on vertiport collaborative traffic management; network flow, capacity and operational management; as well as VCA flight and operating procedures. Within the consortium, AME leads the work package on communication, dissemination, and exploitation.
