On 11 December 2025, the SESAR Joint Undertaking Governing Board convened in Brussels, with an agenda packed to the brim. Amongst other things, we discussed:
- SESAR Bi-Annual Work Programme 2026-2027 – the last WP under SESAR3, which will hopefully be followed by a SESAR4 as from 2028. Unfortunately, there is not much money left for this last round of calls.
- The results of the September 2025 call for proposals – congratulations to all who made the cut! Competition was high again.
- The state-of-play of Common Project 2 (CP2) – with a very tough timeline. Finalisation of the proposal is foreseen for May/June 2026. The AME community is contributing to this important exercise.
- The future of partnerships like the SESAR Joint Undertaking under the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) – some reason for optimism but we cannot afford to be complacent and need to continue advocating for the continuation of this crucial programme. AME is fully committed to doing exactly that.
AME is a founding member of SESAR3 Joint Undertaking.
