This autumn, AME has joined the DALi Lab (Accelerating market uptake of drone-aided medical operations through living labs) project as a consortium partner. The main objective of DALi Lab is to provide guidance on how to develop living labs for drone-aided medical services by integrating drones into medical operations. This will be achieved through an action plan to set up a living lab during the project, including testing and validation of drone solutions (real flights and simulations).
AME will contribute to defining the roadmap for medical drone transport, mapping the ecosystem related to drone-aided medical applications, elaborating recommendations and best practices, facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange, and disseminating the project results.
The 18-month project started in March 2025 and is running until August 2026. It is coordinated by AME member ITG and funded under Horizon Europe Pillar III – European Innovation Ecosystems.
